The property is beautifully configured and furnished. From the deep comfort of the bed to the lush bathroom, it felt super clean, warm and welcoming as soon as I arrived. It was very quiet too and I had a very relaxed night’s sleep. The house is in a great location, a short walk from the hospital and in the other direction Exeter Quay. But beyond this, the best part was meeting Glen and David who were the perfect hosts. They went out of their way to help me feel at home and I will definitely return. I’d recommend staying for breakfast too; it was delicious.”

Lovely, clean room, comfortable bed, lovely decor, lovely shower room, great view, great location, very quiet, parking, within easy walking distance of Exeter Quay and centre, welcoming, very helpful warm host. Couldn't fault it. Perfect for a visit to Exeter University - beautiful rooms, exquisite bed linen and towels! We didn't have breakfast but delicious coffee and tea. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, and the property was absolutely beautiful. It couldn't have been better!”

We stayed in the Deluxe suite which was a lovely bedroom with the most comfortable bed ever. Very central and clean. Glen & David are the loveliest hosts. Toiletries were available to use which was a nice touch as well as a hair dryer, dressing gown, and fresh filtered water by the bed. All great!”

I stayed for one night as I was attending a party that was finishing late. So, this was a super place to prepare for the evening as the room was comfy and spacious, a large bath to relax in and the owners were incredibly helpful in providing information about the local area, as it had been a while since I had gone out in Exeter. The room was beautiful and immaculate, so getting to sleep was no problem. All of my needs were taken care of, and I was really looked after, which I am so thankful to both of the owners. I wish I could give an 11/10 on this site. Truly, it was a wonderful stay.”

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this stay. Everything was unreal, and the owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is exceptional. I'm normally quite fussy and find one thing that I didn't like, but with this property, I can't fault them on anything. I can see why this property is very highly rated and I was even lucky to get a chance to stay here at such an incredible price. Hats off to the owners!”

The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! I enjoyed being in a peaceful place away from the city centre, sitting in the little garden listening to birdsong with my morning cuppa. Glen guided me on the short walk to the hospital, aided by their beautiful, well-behaved dog called Jack.”

We had a beautiful, fresh, high-quality continental breakfast laid out for us in the morning. it was delicious. The beds were super comfy, the location is an easy walk to the quay and lots of bars and eateries. A great pub, The Royal has a lovely pint, which was great after a long day driving and just a short, picturesque walk to the Quay. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly, and it’s a great stop to get you feeling relaxed at the start of your holidays.”

A beautiful house and a very good quality room. Very quiet location yet only a 15-minute walk from the quay, which has several great bars and restaurants. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Private parking was an added bonus. Also, an outside seating area was available for our use, which was great as the weather was lovely when we were there.”

It’s perfectly located beside the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, just a few minutes walk away. I arrived late and had a warm welcome. Very friendly and professional hosts. Cosy house in a quiet neighbourhood. Walking distance from the city centre, appx. 15 to 20 mins. Stayed for work but could stay for recreation as well. Adored the family dog 🙂”
