Neda is a graduate graphic designer from Plymouth Art University, originally from Iran. Her creative journey has been shaped by two deeply inspiring landscapes — her homeland’s rich cultural heritage and the breathtaking beauty of Cornwall and Devon.
Client: Neda Tattersall Fine Art
Service: eCommerce Website Development
Sector: Arts
Adgective was commissioned by Neda to create a new eCommerce website to showcase and sell her distinctive paintings of the Devon and Cornwall coastlines. The website needed to be a CMS website, so the client could manage the website making updates to text and images, and adding new pieces of art when needed. The design had to include Neda’s selection of art pieces, text information, and a selection of well chosen images, along with her branding and colour ways.
Adgective worked closely with Neda to really understand her objectives for the new website, and what it had to do in order for visitors to buy a piece of her art.
The Brief
The client had several main goals for the new website: 1) It needed to showcase the amazing paintings; 2) Have a clear call to action for visitors to view and buy paintings; 3) Let visitors get to know Neda so they understand where her paintings come from, and; 4) That visitors ultimate buy an art piece.
Key aspects
The website had to be clear and minimal in order to showcase the art. The client didn’t want anything too complicated or busy, so Adgective built a website with clean lines, pale colour ways, and focussed information so the art is the stand out item on the page.
Final stage
The project ended by having a CMS training workshop and a manual of useful step-by-step instruction on how to make changes to their website was handed to the client.
”Chris at Adgective was able to take my vision for my new website and turn it into reality. The result is a website I'm proud of and really shows off my art. I'm so pleased with the end result and would recommend Chris to anyone.
